You have to take the bus from Toulouse, France or Barcelona, Espan`a,
both of which are on major Eurail lines. My wife & I did that & the
service was very good, & the bus rides beautiful.

I know nothing about the train from Barcelona, but 2 years ago, my wife &
I took the bus from Barcelona to La Velle, & it was a very nice ride, &
inexpensive, too.

Thanks for the information. The ladies with the blue uniforms must have
been the urban guardians you discuss, because they were native Andorrans.
Of course it is easy for an American to assume these are all the police,
because in our country almost all police (except for state troopers & the
FBI)
sh individuals are termed "los
pendejos."
We owe a debt of gratitude to
our Mexican brothers for teaching us this term, which goes far beyond an earlier
terminology, inherited from the British & abbreviated "A.H." which only
partially describes these persons.
When my wife & I were in Barcelona, we had to take a bus to Andorra. It
was inexpensive & a very pretty ride. We bought tickets at a travel
agent.
