I wish to point to another use case where gub installation fails miserably.
In installing an HP DL360G7 I had to use an USB stick as the installation
media (the server has not installed a CD reader) AND another usb stick as
supplementary media for installing the firmware files for the broadcom
coming up with one myself ;)

I reported a bug[1] to ask adding my GPG key to the DM keyring, as per
instructions on becoming a Debian Maintainer. BTS correctly opened the bug and
assigned it an id (#681445). Despite that, the bug is not listed in the
debian-maintainers pseudo-package
, either justniffer needs to be patched to not use the
embedded libnids, or we must work with upstream to fix everything
there. In both cases I have no time to care of it, so I am changing
this ITP to a RFP.

Between 0.2 and the current version the plugin has almost completely
been rewritten, and I actually can't reproduce the bug with the
current version.
I would go to close this bug, if no other informations will be added
in the next days.
