If you'd prefer to just fix this without (for now) the broader rewrite,
https://salsa.debian.org/qa/qa/-/merge_requests/28 claims to do so; I
haven't tried it but it looks plausible.
Weirdly, this bug doesn't seem to affect everything with build profiles:

Hi Maintainer
In the recent rebuild for r-api4.0, r-cran-treescape FTBFS on ppc64el [1].
I've copied what I hope is the relevant part of the log below.
Upstream's homepage has a note:

fwiw, I can't reproduce this.

Hello.
I was just hit by this bug, when I temporarily added some ssh keys to do
some tests to find that it was impossible to remove them from the agent.
I am running an up to date debian sid system as of May 21, 2020.
And I can confirm that still "ssh-add -D" fails to remove keys from the
agent.

I built wine from source. I and I have the sound working thanks to
libaudio-dev.
ANd I built libaudio-dev -t unstable from source. It was very simple, just
build-dep and then the build command from the doc, What I say here is only
valid for 64 bit.
If one wants to build for 32 bit libaudio-dev, o

This appears to be fixed, probably by

(Fixed on qa.debian.org/dose/debcheck/...;

Should it?)
I built wine from source and i have the sound. I used a unstable
libaudio-dev built from source in 64 bit. For 32 one would need a chroot
with alocal debian to not affect the system.
--> build libfaudio-dev from source
add unstable reposiry rules the the apt sources.list
