I confirm this problem too with 64bit intrepid and openGL screensavers.
I have a radeonX700 so I'm pretty certain this isn't driver/card
related. As a side-note I did *not* have this problem until I
reformatted. Originally I upgraded to intrepid from hardy (both 64bit)
and didn't have this problem.

I'm seeing the problem, but I'm not using RAID. I have two encrypted
partitions -- one setup up automatically during installation, and the
other set up manually with cryptsetup and LUKS.
I copied some big files from one encrypted partition on one hard drive

Thanks for replying and no, not using xinerama.
I did have a closer look and there seem to be two issues involved.
You were right, what I described here is most likely a compiz issue and
needs the "Rotate Cube" plugin enabled and "Rotate Flip Left/Right" set
to the left/right screen edge (default)

Fixed upstream. The next tarball (2.25.90, due this Monday) will have avahi
