There is a bug somewhere. I used the gconf-editor tweak to fix the bug on two
machines that were running alpha 3. I just installed beta1 on my laptop and
learned, the hard way, the the gconf-tweak has been
ok I found that central channel is turned off in alsamixer by default!!!

nautilus overhaul. I dont think they intended to fix this bug. But rather mare

I guess i will add my 2 cents. window control placement really makes no
difference to me, except i find it useful when close button is opposite
of the minimize and maximize buttons as my aim is not that great with
the mouse.
i would be nice to have an option at install to pick the placement
though
I have been testing this for a few days on my Netbook with touchpad only
and I think it does take more mental effort to go after the buttons with
them being on the left.
I don't have Lucid on my desktop machine yet, but I have changed the
buttons to match the new Lucid setup and. IMHO, it isn't a

preference for "Normal" visual effects as opposed to "None" is never

The sleep button action is set to Sleep, but when pressed the computer
hibernates. Expected the computer to actually go to sleep. If sleep is
chosen from the power menu on the top right corner of the screen, the

I moved my music to another smb-share folder. Rhytmbox whon't remove old
folder and keeps hanging and chrashing. Tried to uninstall, rebooted and
made a reinstall. The old installed folders where still there, any
suggestions?

I guess it depends on your point of view. I found that taking a guess
and releasing the slider on what is hopefully the correct volume level
is a bit less intuative. I would expect the slider to behave in the same
way when sliding around normally as when sliding from the muted
position.
