I've had other random freezes, the most common problem is when I right-click on

This is becoming problematic. Maybe we should consider just properly
centering everything (again).
IIRC, the clock and calendar were shifted for the use case of low
resolution screens where the dock accounted for a larger proportion of
the screen.

Using ubuntu-dock, I installed dash to dock from ubuntu-software to do
some small customizations (minimize on click).
I install extensions from ubuntu-software, so in the folder where they are
installed, as you can see I don't have these extensions:

It just doesn't make sense to have a search as soon as you start typing,
that's what the search button and Ctrl+F are for. It hinders workflow
when wanting to get to files/folders quickly by typing initial letters
