Fair enough. It's likely mutter stealing the focus for whatever is
getting the focus. And somehow I only just noticed that bug 2020672
describes the same.

Sounds like another fix similar to bug 1983456 will be required.

Was that with:

or just:

which will list even disabled extensions?

Make Wayland sessions work with fbdev. For when KMS/DRM support is
missing in the kernel but the device still has legacy graphics.
Currently Xorg already does this with a custom driver that allows it to
fall back to using fbdev. We could do the same with mutter

The problem has recurred, and according to 'gnome-extensions list',
d...@rastersoft.com is enabled again. Running 'gnome-extensions disable
d...@rastersoft.com' again does not remove it from the list.

I've been able to find a case in which this was not fixed for me too,
and I've now handled it upstream.
So we need to respin the SRU update.

removing anydesk completely because of this but the ghost area is still
there. Nd it is horrible for a workplace. We just gotta wait. Soon the

I also tested Daniel's mutter package with:

sudo apt upgrade
And rebooted the Workspace just in case.
I know Mustafa mentioned he was still able to reproduce the issue. In my
case, I wasn't but on the other hand, I can't do the action

I tried testing the fix, but im not sure if I did it right. The steps I

Apologies again for the slow reply, and thanks for accepting this into

I've tested and I can verify that nautilus 1:42.6-0ubuntu1 from jammy-

seems to continue work well and as expected (I did some

Thanks, fix verified then.
As for "overview was very laggy", this is the first I've heard of any
regressions from the proposed packages. We definitely want to get to the
bottom of that so when you have time please open a new bug about it and
mention:
* Wayland or Xorg

Fixes in proposed resolves the issue for me.
After testing I removed the packages because overview was very laggy on
my Z16 but only when connected to an external monitor. Not sure if its
related?
