I have the same problem with my 160GB external HDD (ext3). It used to
work in edgy and dapper. Now it does not auto mount with feisty (and
fedora 7). It is listed by the command fdisk -l as sdb1. I noticed that
my internal HDD partitions are now called sdax, which used to be hdax,

No it doesn't make sense to me either when you put it that way. I was
always under the impression that Compiz-Fusion was the output of Compiz
and Beryl's merger in a early alpha form. Quite interesting to learn

another in nautilus, the window closes, then reopens in the directory I

Confirmed in gutsy.
My recommended fix is that when you choose to empty the trash, nautilus should
do either this:
if [ `rm -fr ~/.Trash/*` != "" ]
then
chmod +w ~/.Trash/
if [ `rm -fr ~/.Trash/*` != "" ]
then
#Do the "This file could not be deleted" thing
fi
fi
Or:
chmod +w ~/.Trash/
if [ `rm -f
