Hello, I have Ubuntu 18.04 installed on my HP touchsmart 600.
Audio still doesn't work either the internal speakers, or if I connect outside
speakers through 3.5mm audio jack.

I am using Ubuntu 19.10 with 5.1 surround speakers.
I tried to configure 5.1 surround, but it still doesn't work.
I also installed Pulse audio.

@mario-vukelic I just tested it again with my devices (just to be sure)
and I have this issue under Wayland and Xorg independently of the screen
