I'm not familiar with the reasoning for this, if it is an intentional
design choice. If the issue still occurs in Ubuntu 24.04, which is about

Hello Jussi, thanks for the report. I believe this is an intentional
design choice -- if someone cannot stop music gently they may do so
violently.
