as the title says X crashes when pressing ctrl+space in Gimp, thus I first
filed a bug against Gimp, but the guys there told me that this would most
propably be an X bug, thus here I am.
After the crash lightdm starts asap and I am presented with the login prompt.
I have Asus Xonar Essence STX . I really don't know about 44100Hz or
48000Hz .

I have this issue too.
Notice that with the Bluetooth USB dongle shipped with the keyboard, the
"wrong" battery disappear and the keyboard is working fine.

I'm getting an annoyingn noise from my HP Paviliion dv6000 computer when
no sound is being played. When I increase, decrease, or mute the volume,
I get a cracking noise. Then, the idling noise will return. Thanks for
any tips you may have!

when starting ubuntu, plymouth briefly shows, then i get a black screen
with a blinking cursor.
strange thing is, i do have a mouse pointer, and lightdm did load. i can
type my username and password blind, and judging by HD activity it does
load the desktop.
