With permission from Tom Callaway (the ntfs-3g maintainer), I am

The Change of autoconf to version 2.71 is built and done. F36FTBFS bugs are
created [1] for failed builds of packages. Most of them are caused by minor
issues and not merged pull-requests of fixes regarding autoconf-2.71
change. Hopefully have this done in a short time.
