There's plenty of JavaScript doing all the server comms.
Does Zimbra scroll like a native App, even in cases where it has to
build it's pages itself (not the server)?
Often, JS apps look like they perform well because most of the load is
being handled by the server.

I was right to be somewhat suspicious of the announcement, it isn't
quite what it appears. Sonos aren't really implementing AirPlay. They
are just plugging an AirPort Express into the line in on one of their
boxes.

It would be nice if Sonos' claims in they press release were correct:

play different music from your iTunes® library in different rooms of the
home. And it's been that way since 2005."

Regarding the "current player" status, would it at least be possible to

You might want to make sure that you have tagged the files as you would
want to. It will prevent tagged files/folders getting mixed up with
ones that are untagged. I always tag and add any artwork prior to

Use the webUI. On the computer that is running Squeezebox Server, open a
web browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari) and go to:
http://localhost:9000
On other computers go to:
http://:9000
The players are in a pull down in the upper right. Pick a player you
want to sync, then select Synchronize
Many thanks to all.
The iPeng method does seem much simpler. I can also see why there needs
to be a "master" machine for the playlist to be sync'd.
I haven't really got into the web UI as I run SBS on a Ready NAS and
it's all a bit of black box (literally!) at the moment.
