Many, many tnx to all who replied to my request for
QRP info. Learned alot. QRPers are really excited about their
aspect of ham radio. One guy had 300 countries on
TWO
bands with QRP. By golly that's a real achievement!

This week's bulletin was made possible with information provided by
K8FFO, the OPDX Bulletin, The
Gain comes from REMOVING Energy from some directions and focusing it in other
directions. Horizontal Arrays such as the Sterba Curtain can develop good
gains but focus the energy in NARROW Lobes. This is not a problem for ROTARY
antennas, but severly limits coverage for a FIXED Antenna.
