Hi Jerry,
I can tell you're blessed with the ability to access the
Internet on a full time basis. (:-))
Some of us are actually limited to dial-up access where
48K is FAST, and that renders the telephone unusable
to other's in the house. Some even pay $.10/minute to
access QRZ.com.

I've solved -MY- problem with getting the call look-up
window to update with each new log entry. All I had
to do is read the book ... sorry for the bandwidth.
I'd just upgraded to 6.03 and had assumed all my
settings would remain from 6.02.

Jeff,
Sorry, don't know of a way to avoid the obvious. Just finished
about 7200 Q's ... all manually entered from 13 ARRL log books
spanning 1978 to present. Not fun, but the job's done.
Next is my earlier logs/calls going back to 1951 . (;-)

Larry, others ...
Why bother with the effort of entering the data from your
logbooks into Excel and then moving it into DX4WIN?
It would seem that the effort would be just as well spent on
direct entry into DX4WIN, since you'd be entering the same
data. Unless you have another use for the Excel
Is there a way to enter that a QSL has been sent, WITHOUT
entering a specific date? I'm the guy with 12K+ manual entries
under way and I have no idea when most QSL's were sent ...only=20
that they were. In most cases they were stockpiled and sent to
bureaus at intervals. I suppose a ghost date
I want thank those of you that responded to my
concerns about the program meeting my needs
for sorting QSO information.
I've learned a bit more now and at least feel good
enough to further commit to entering the 12K +
QSO's. (:-))

Add me to the list of those REALLY wanting a dedicated=20
field for frequency, i.e. 7034 instead of 40M. Ditto for=20
Name and City/Town. The goal is to sort by keying
on Bob or Podunkville, etc.. Perhaps a couple of user
defined fields would work. My entries start in the early
