Hi,
I tried to migrate from LM8.1 to 8.2 and got the next problem. If I connect
to ISP via modem system hangs up soon after pppd starting.
Does anyone happen on such problem?

"Disk Type Setting" configuration menu. Only you need r/w access to /dev/hdx or

VMware is virtual machine. It is not same your real computer. You must
configure this virtual machine how you want and install on it Win98 or any
other OS. You can start two or more VM with different OS together and they will
wor

IV. edit lilo.conf and fstab according to new places of partitions.
V. run lilo
VI. reboot system
If you would like use Grub you need edit /boot/grub/menu.lst and run
/boot/grub/install.sh
