I'm wrapping up my month in Norway, and I need to spend time analyzing
my data and coming up with a summary of what I've done while here.
I'm therefore not going to be touching tracker submissions until I get
back home.

Hey folks.
I'm getting ready for a meeting, and I'm not really going to have time
to devote to the tracker until that's done (a few weeks).
Just a heads-up.

I submitted the enca package. What does that mean? I'm following:

I have done some validating on packages in the tracker, and have added
comments, but I don't have the ability to modify the
attributes...would someone be kind enough to do this for me? Details
follow.
I have also uploaded a new version of gettext-tools that fixes a

The last time you took a hiatus you mooted the idea of documenting the

I'm busy at work and in the process of moving--I'm not sure when my Mac is
going to be back online again, so I'm not going to be able to validate
packages for a while.

Due to a combination of personal and professional trips, I'm going to
be quite busy until mid-January (probably with spotty 'net access, too).
To make matters even more difficult, neither of my 10.4 partitions
will currently boot. I've got 10.3 and a

I'm not going to have time to do any more tracker validation due to an
upcoming conference presentation that requires my attention.
Anybody who wants to validate packages there, and record your
findings, is more than welcome. Be sure to note whether
I haven't necessarily been adding packages that I've put on the
tracker to the 10.3 tree --mainly because a reboot is required for any
build testing. If you've got a package that was added to 10.4, please
reply to fink-devel. There are a few folks with 10.3 setups, so we
should be able to get the
Work on the tracker is still proceeding. Please be patient if you have
a package there!
And a reminder: make sure to reset the Group to "Undergoing validation"
after you make changes. Otherwise the updates for your package will
probably get overlooked.

The package has changed its compatibility_version, but supposedly
without an API change. I want to see if it can be added without a full
refactoring (appending a number, ...)

I've been just testing/committing packages from the tracker to 10.4 as
of late (because there have been a lot of them).
If you have one that you'd like backported to 10.3, please ask here or
ask me directly--there are a few people around who have 10.3 setups on
which to test (myself included).
