No, I just wanted to report the error.

I am trying to run "fink install cppunit" (cppunit version 1.8.0-1005) on a
MacBook 10.4.11 and I see the following build error. Cppunit does not
install. After running "fink selfupdate" I had the same problem. Version
cppunit1.10.2 installed successfully.

I want to thank everyone who has helped me attempt to build
my idiosyncratic apps (is "idiotsyncratic" a word? :-) on
Leopard using fink. Unfortunately, not one of these attempts
has been successful. I suspect that an intimate and deep
knowledge of the detailed architecture of Mac-OS/X and fink
Scribus134 installed without a problem on my PPC, 10.5.4, running
xquartx 2.2.3.
However, when the Scribus window(s) appears, no legible text is
visible. Some squiggles are present, but are not legible enough to

I'm not exactly sure what you
I've recently used the binary installer, now I can't download anything due to
the fact the ftp and http servers weren't configured to fink. Please list the
servers ( or use the terminal output file ). Thanks.

That is indeed "funny". I think I want to blame Apple for this one,
since fink's installer package has done nothing to affect that dialog
box. We *do* provide French-language localization for the Fink-
specific error messages that you may encounter during installation.

Hi there,
Yesterday I tried to install Fink 0.9.0 for PowerPC on my Quicksilver 2002
running Leopard.
After mounting the image and double-clicking the .pkg file, the installer
starts.
It asks me what language I want to use. I select French.
Then it displays the license agreement (the GPL), but th
