I'm working on an automated script to get and build from source, run the
testsuite and post the results. It's about 90% complete - isn't everything?
I expect to use it internally for testing on various os/jvm combinations.
And, with a little luck, establish a site to post the results and collect
Jason is looking at it but there are no plans to use at this point as it has yet
to be proven that is cure is not worse then the current build disease.

Would it be possible for someone who knows/has both windows and linux
scripting to investigate this? I recall that I had to increase the memory
for the build in the build.sh files and I don't know if this was ever done
