I tried with the latest 3.15-rc4, to no avail.
Basically, the bluetooth is sporadically available. Although, when
available, it usually stays available for next reboot, even cold reboot.
Apparently it takes long shutdown period / possible suspend / resume
cycles to lose it again.
In
I am not sure about when I will be able to test this, as the server is
in use by several people (the affected interfaces are used only for
traffic testing purposes, by using iperf or simple ping).
If I test it with another kernel, I will let you know as soon as
possible.

I'm using Ubuntu 14.10 dev with kmod 16-2ubuntu4 and after making today
a dist-upgrade I have noticed that the error message depmod: ERROR:
Module 'hci_vhci' has devname (vhci) but lacks major and minor
information. Ignoring. appeared. Calling depmod
I will test it out this weekend. I haven't had the time to test yet.
