At the moment I haven't got the time to test this in karmic as this bug does
not occur every time but sporadically.
But I'm using kde 4.3 on on jaunty for some weeks now and indeed I haven't seen
this bug since then.
So I think that this is also the case for the ackages shipped with Karmic and
with yesterdays updates pwnm works again for me, it may possibly have
started working a bit earlier as i haven't been testing pwnm every day
successfully connecting to a WEP network in a hotel

Because from talking to an Amarok (not *buntu) dev (I don't remember
who, sorry, it was a chat) it looked to him like a simple regression
(because it worked in the past) that should be an easy fix (because the
code to make it
