What a shame that vendors are not prepared to go to lace days in the UK. It is
so much better to see the books and threads. We have a problem getting them
as the distances they have to come make it very expensive to attend. In my
Illinois guild we always had a vendor who could also teach a class
It's so nice to see so many Arachne members in one place, as I live in Norfolk
UK we don't have many Arachne members in the area, I know of only one and she
happens to be a friend from Norfolk Lacemakers. We do not even have as many
lace days as we used to because many of the suppliers will not
