The big problem with getting off the plane at a midpoint stop is that your checkthrough luggage will not get off the plane with you. I can't imagine an attendee at a lace convention making do with only what's in her carryon. Those things don't necessarily arise to the surface when first conside

It would work if you only have only carry-on luggage. If you check a suitcase, it would not come off at the midway stop. Or you could mail your luggage ahead. I usually have too much stuff for a week of lace classes to fit in a carry-on. And... I have to allow room for the things I acquire
