if you only want to upgrade and do not make a complete new
installation, you can use apt-get dist-upgrade. In fai there's

To suppress the configuration of ispell (selection of default language), use
mkdivert /usr/sbin/update-ispell-dictionary

You mean nlfai will not make a first installation but a maintainance
update of a running machine. I've also thinked about that option, but
currently it's easier and faster to reinstall a machine (complete
reinstall with preserving some partitions if des

/usr/sbin/liloconfig to the cvs tree of fai, and now it works. You can

Is the computer connected to a switch ? There were problems when
connected to a Cisco switch, because packets from the computer did not
pass the switch directly. I think it was a 2.2.18 kernel when I had
this problem but in 2.2.19 the parameters were changes so this problem
disappeared.
