RAID is just a file storage mode that uses extra drives to keep special
information on how to reclaim data should one of the other disks in the
set go bad. To form a RAID set requires at least one more disk than you
are using for storage. For instance, if you want to store twenty-four
The other thing that is strange is that it says playing on Airmusic. I've never

Jeff,
The thing that made me notice it was my watch. It positively kills the battery
life on my watch. Not only does it drain the battery, but it makes it so the
battery doesn't charge properly either. And the only way to stop the rapid
battery drain is to completely power my phone off and
Hi Donna,
I had noticed the media controls showing up on my iPhone, and I have also
noticed a fast drain on my iPhone battery in recent days. I didn’t, unlike
you, connect the two.
Now that you made me aware, I’m also not happy with this adjustment/bug or
whatever it is.

Greetings everybody,
I have this pesky problem that has been going on since my iPhone was updated to
iOS 14. So far this only affects in the editing mode in Mail and Safari.
Basically, when I stop typing in the editing mode to review a message I
composed for a minute, but this "Message body
Hi,
I am wondering how to get Voiceover to announce how much time is left using my
macbook on battery power. I didn’t find a setting where I could at that value.
However articles suggest that in big sur that should be integrated. I only get

NAS is "network attached storage" and is essentially a private cloud storage in
your home. There are several vendors that make nas.
Raid is an automatic backup system built into most large storage systems that
makes copies of each file on different drives in a cluster of drives if any one

Hi all,
For about the past week, when I use Siri to play music from my Homepod—also
playing to some Sonos speakers—the Airplay control dialog displays on my other
i-devices—phone, iPad, etc. This never used to happen, and I don’t like it. It
used to be that unless I manually airplayed
You Mean that my data are saved to a server or something like that? and the

I don't know what G-RAID is, but you'll definitely be using RAID of some
form. That's your data protection system right there. If a disk goes
bad, you don't lose anything; you just swap out the bad disk for a new
one and tell the network-attached storage device how to deal with the
new volume.
Wireless? No way. It attaches to your local network via a Category 5
cable. It's a box with any number of bays for disk drives. I have one
from Synology that holds up to eight drives. My current storage capacity
is about 40, yes, that's for-zero, terabytes.
