Gang,
I'm about to put in a new carrier bushing into my W108. From what I've
gathered, it seems pretty straightforward:
-put a jack under the diff to support it
-loosen the carrier bolt and the four mount bolts
-remove the old bushing and replace
Does anyone have any caveats to offer on this pro

plus two AC's, two water heaters, refrigerators, stoves, sets of TV's and

Bad deal -- he'd either bring his Suburban or his fuel-guzzler pickup. You
couldn't give either away, unless it is for the price of scrap metal. You
couldn't cover the cost of his return ticket.

I start to get real upset when we go over $60... Of course the A/C hasn't been

We burn about 500 gallons of oil and 2 cords of wood in the winter, the tax is
about $1000 a year. Pretty easy on the wallet this house. I expect the oil bil

Mind you I don't have one (though I nearly did get one

replacement engine), so this hearsay, but IIRC the only
real symptom is that oil consumption goes up. Inexorably.

I am looking at an absolutely ridiculous electric bill for last month. I
used the same amount of electricity as the same month last year, but my bill
is much higher due a fuel surcharge. A normal Summer electric bill for the
