My '98 Jetta was super sensitive to getting the wheels on just right, if they weren't all the way in when you tightened the lugs the wouldn't get really tight and would work loose again. The car would shake terribly as they loosened, it would get pretty frightening on the highway. Worst time

I few years ago I bought new tires for the Nissan Frontier. Drove home from the tire shop and next day driving back in to town there was a strange vibration and noise. Pulled off at a convenience store and found the lug nuts on the driver's side front wheel were lose, not even finger tight.

I always check the lugs before taking off. This time I was going to but then I didn’t because I figured I just put the wheels back on. I remember how it went down now because I lifted the back the trailer with the tractor to pull all the wheels at the same time and installed the one side hand
