Hello List and Associates,
Some of us who sell and buy at auction have just fought off an expensive attack

has succeeded, knowingly or not, i

Carl, All,
For those who apparently don't know how to read the bidding statistics
on a given page, the important thing to look at is the time at which a
bid was placed -- not the order in which it appears on the list.
The current top bid, held by 3***g( 93), was placed on December 31st,

I can't believe what I am reading here.
We are talking about Geoff Notkin. I am sorry but, I have to speak up here.
Geoff is NOT shilling here.
He would simply never be a part of anything like that.

The fact that one individual bidder has 0 feedback and that many bids on one
item in that span of time, leads me to feel that maybe a form of bid rigging
is taken place. At least that's what would catch my eye and put my guard up.
Now that the price is where the seller wants it, it would not sur
Looks like the bidder w/93 is on auto-bid. His max bid is probably higher
still.
I must say, that's a lovely looking specimen Geoff's offering. Beautiful
rollover lip.
I'm afraid I won't be able to join in on the bidding though. ;^)

And he just got outbid by a bidder with 93 feedbacks! I never complain about
situations like this. Bidding wars bring in badly needed income during the
Great Recession when you're lucky to sell anything at any price.
