ok, so whatever was wrong has fixed itself sometime between release and 11/16, because both the 11/16 and 11/20 install50 snapshot images boot fine. how "safe" are those two images? would it be ok to run on a production system or should I wait for the official 5.0 stable branch?

hello, my system (dmesg below) has a built-in video camera on the display. the region around the video camera heats up phenomenally, it happens everytime, irrespective of whether i use it for 2 minutes or 2 hours. anything i could do to help the systems guys resolve this problem? thank you.
