Yes, I know that. Of course, I could have forgotten, but I didn't this time:

Dear friends,
I would like to let you all know that palatino works now.
What steps do I need to take now to get my Hudson?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Patrick,
Well, what I wanted is to install and use a new font called Hudson. It is a

I installed Hudson with texfont, but I got a serious error message. Apparently

Thanks everybody.
I think we have come close to a solution...
I used the batch file Willy advised me. (Afm2tfm is interrupted, when called
through texfont; I don't know why. Everything seems to work normally though.)
It generates a lot of font files in a batch. Very handy, I must say!

Hi Wolfgang,
as far as I can see there is nothing wrong with the result you have.
The overlapping picture indicates its dimensions compared to a A4 page

Hi Wolfgang,

Hello,
I have a problem with the figure database. If you have a short look in the
attached pdf you will see especially on page 3 (screenshot included) that the

Thanks for your help.

That's the wrong location. There is nothing pdftex specific in these
files, so the "syntax" is dvips, not pdftex. I have told Hans about it.
The level below fonts/map is "syntax" according to TDS 1.1.

Hi,
A next release of texmfstart will provide
texmfstart bin:xsltproc kpse:somefile.xsl somefile.xml
this means that one can put for instance xsl scripts (and whatever file) in the
