I am trying to typeset a simple table with very tight spacing. The first
column of the table is wider than the others with a mysterious amount of
extra space added on the left. You can reproduce this with a simple example:
\starttext
\starttable[|s1l|l|l|l|l|l|l|l|l|]
\HL
\VL4\NC 1\NC 7\VL\AR

are some commands I have not seen before... so I have to learn :-)
Unluckily I still get an error message:
! Use of \startPARA doesn't match its definition.

Hi,
I'm trying to create a book where the front matter has no
headers/footers, except roman numeral page numbers at the top outside of the
page. The main matter should have Arabic numeral page numbers
(restarting with '1') at the top outside of each page, plus the name of
the book in the header of

you can patch str-ref.lua:
local b, e = "\\ctxlua{local jc = structures.references.currentset;", "}"

And what about a footnote block as one contiguous paragraph? That is, footnote

Would that be possible?

Hello,
Here a minimal example that generates that error:
\usemodule[pre-stepwise]
\setupinteraction[state=start]
\starttext
bla
\stoptext

What happened to the TUG favicon? Wasn't it \TeX?
Interestingly
