you can't actually edit a .swf file. You should have recieved a set of
files with the extension .fla in the download (well, you used to
anyways). .fla files are editable with a copy of Macromedia Flash and

It could be a setting on your web server; if you're using apache you may
need to have someone edit the config files so that it understands what
to do with the .phtml of these files. Come to think of it .. using
.phtml is a really old way of doing this; nobody really uses this
extension

I'm pretty sure that the misconceptions flash file is lost ... no longer
extant. Not sure about the libsquares_winner2 one; i'll take a look
through some of my old copies when I get home and see what I can find.
