Makefile.in where there are these lines:

First off, the description of what happened (this is the second time
this happened). I use a Gateway c-140xl with Gutsy. I had uptime for
something around 18-20hrs.
This is my workaround to this problem. It refreshes the volume icons on
the desktop every time you log in.
create a file somewhere in your home directory, and put this inside:
gconftool --type bool -s /apps/nautilus/desktop/volumes_visible false
gconftool --type bool -s /apps/nautilus/desktop/vol
This is fixed (according to Debian maintainer) in gromacs 3.3.1-5 which
shipped with Ubuntu 7.10. If you still experience this bug with 3.3.1-5
or later please feel free to reopen.

Yes that is correct. When installing the nividia glx-new drivers, and after
restarting the machine the GPU fan is set to run a 100%. Currently the only

I also occasionally see this after resuming my laptop (dell d620) -

On Ubuntu Gutsy, with FF2, I get a perfectly fine rendering. On Ubuntu
Hardy, with FF2, I also get the right layout.

as for the not working on konqueror issue, using Kmplayer to embed it
works fine for me (not using Ubuntu packages though, as they for some
reason don't have the needed backend compiled in) . see

This is also happening in Gutsy with 2.6.22-14-generic (installed
version 2.6.22-14.47) i386 on an Abit AN-M2 motherboard with an Athlon
64 X2 4800+.
The lm_sensors readings are normal when this occurs, and a front panel
temperature gauge which reads from a temperature probe stuck in the heat
sink
Synaptics touchpad works perfect when desktop effects are disabled.
When certain plugins are enabled and have more than two windows to switch from
desktops the effects of Compiz conflicts with touchpad tap buttons.
Maybe there are others Compiz plugins that conflicts with Gsynaptics I didn't
test

I've just run into this bug, but I didn't change the icon set from OOo,
but from GNOME. Anyway, OOo should check that the style is installed and
if it isn't fall back to an installed one.

Do you mean that installing linux32 removed "util-linux" and
/usr/bin/getopt?
"linux32" is provided by "util-linux" for me (on 32bit), so it seems the
linux32 package is incomplete for 64bit..?
