I was also having the same problem in fluxbox (see bug #531339 for

Is it possible to use a gradient rather than a bitmap as the panel
background to achieve an effect that scales? Buttons with gradients

Can confirm the same issue on my EeePC 701 4G with Ubuntu Netbook Remix
9.10. gnome-power-manager reports that "my battery may be broken (1.9%)"
on boot.
Also, when running: cat /proc/acpi/battery/BAT0/info I notice that "Last

I've found a workaround for this bug. Comment out in
/lib/udev/rules.d/61-option-modem-modeswitch.rules this line:
ATTRS{idVendor}=="05c6", ATTRS{idProduct}=="1000", RUN+="modem-modeswitch -v
0x%s{idVendor} -p 0x%s{idProduct} -t option-zerocd"
Then it works with option_zero_cd=2, eject and one mi
OOo is not setting _NET_WM_STATE_FULLSCREEN so compiz is refusing to
allow it to resize to cover the panel, as it is supposed to. Metacity
appears to have a hack for this as when entering presentation mode it
says "Window manager warning: Treating resize request of legacy

problem was that there were 2 other MythTv.pm files in older version of
perl folders
once they were renamed
mythexport worked
problem is perl and older versions were not purged in upgrade

AnyDATA ADU-510A, the same problem. On 8.10 it was fine, on 9.04 it was
automatically disconnecting and reconnecting after about a minute, but working
