Xubuntu 22.04.1 after upgrading from 20.04
In order to get multiple Windows 10 systems to "discover" the samba

also download and install both:
I can report that mainline seems fine. I have not tried 4.10.11 but
stopped at 4.10.8 as it is working well for me the past couple days.

painter@merlin:~$
I installed v4.10.8 and left stress running on for about an hour. Just
got back and the system has been stable for the past 5 hours without any
failures.
painter@merlin:~$ uname -a
Linux merlin 4.10.8-041008-generic #201703310531 SMP Fri Mar 31 09:33:56 UTC

So far I have test v4.10.2, v4.10.4 and v4.10.6 - each time running
Thunderbird, Chrome, RhythmBox, Eclipse and then starting up stress to
push a system load (20-25 minutes each). I originally saw some funky
performance within the first few minutes with the kernel that started
this thread, but so
I will try to see what I can do. Leaving town tomorrow for a long
weekend. If not, I can work on it Sunday when I get back.

Title:
Kernel bug
Mainline v4.10 seems to have fixed the issue.
However, now I am getting a Bluetooth error on startup. This does not
seem to impact actual use though as I can still do an audio sync and
stream to my main receiver.
Up and running for over an hour with VirtualBox, MySQL, Eclipse,
Thunderbird and
I've installed the v4.10 mainline.
painter@merlin:~$ uname -a
Linux merlin 4.10.0-041000-generic #201702191831 SMP Sun Feb 19 23:33:19 UTC
2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Will monitor and see if there are any more system crashes. I will update
in a few hours.
Thanks!

I had another system crash last night, and two this morning. I then installed
the daily mainline kernel and have been running for a few hours without any
issues. I think this issue is resolved in the updated kernel.
