I have a couple of weeks of experience now and can say for sure that
this bug also shows up when using other applications, not just in
Firefox. Mostly it occurs when I do things like opening a menu,
switching between applications windows etc. So filing the bug against
Firefox was probably wrong.

I have a Thinkpad r500 which had working fan control til the update to
11.04. Now the fan turns constantly at about 3000 rpm. An effect of

Since today I have the problem of not beeing able to login with my work
account using xfce. Everytime I try I get back to the login manager. My
guess is that this has to do with the update which came in today or
yesterday.
