I find it unlikely that the machine would have been running out of
memory. The machine showing this behavior has a GiB of memory. Other

I also tried the 20060928 daily (alternate, 64-bit) image, and I too
have the same result that Joel Ebel had. The Dapper install fails in

When inserting card to 5-in-1 TI card reader, card is detected correctly. In
dmesg there is such entry:

afaik, the only big changes concern the DVB support, which is quite buggy

I can confirm this as well. Because the problem is apparent in the
default theme, the bug is carried over to my / our Ubuntu specific
Human, Tangerine and Tango themes. As I have absolutely no clue yet what
is causing this problem on the default theme I'm not jumping in straight
away to fix this.
