speakers. The distortion sounds more like if you took two of the same songs and
played them through the same set of speakers but with one of them started about

Sebastien, Robbie, the problem here is a bad interference of the hp-
plugin utility with ibus. To reproduce this, you need to set Russian
locale, install hplip-gui and run
hp-plugin -ldebug
Then you get the following output:

Ok, I'll take in account your remark about language.
As for batman-adv the history is the following. I had some problem with
virtualbox (it didn't work properly) and according to virtualbox hint
something was wrong with linux headers. And during installing the proper
linux headers a bug with batm

The debug that I added which says:

Is earlier in the startup of console-kit-daemon then the previous
versions.
The previous version had the first debug at:

I don't believe I was really even actively accessing the disk at the
time this occurred (but not 100% sure). I only noticed when I tried to
access my files, and found that the volume mysteriously unmounted. This
is all on Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit, and I'm using a WD1H1Q-00.

Unplugging the device and plugging it back in didn't made this appear in
syslog:
