Public bug reported:
The patches in the libnotify package are not applied, so the bugs that
they claim to fix are not actually fixed:
* debian/patches/01_reopen-notification.patch:
+ Don't crash the daemon when showing an already closed notification
bubble. Patch from upstream SVN
Why do you have DPMS stuff in xorg.conf? g-p-m doesn't touch xorg.conf
so that's perhaps over-writing the policy value.

The corruption problems that I initially experienced went away until
after this morning's update. I can't even boot into my system because of
bus errors on the ttys. Could the libc6 update cause this? I'm not sure
how to repair now. Here's the output of xfs_check:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# xfs_check

Today's libc6 update broke my system. I can't get to a terminal because
of bus errors on the ttys. I also got filesystem corruption. I think
this bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/133786 is related.
