Whenever my friend IMs me, or IM her, my pidgin crashes. However, when
I don't have the pidgin-encryption plugin activated, it doesn't crash at
all!

resizing border it would just need to stick to the border for a couple
pixels worth of movement, say 3~5. That would allow one to stop at the

I think I have found a way to reproduce this bug:

attached a few seconds ago, as root and press some keys during "sleep 5"
than the keyboard will behave incorrect (in the same way as described in

work, but the keyboard did.
So I updated with "update-manager -d" and using the last kernel 2.6.27-11 it
does work.

I can confirm that getting the Debian package as the above link suggests
works with Ubuntu 8.10 but the Xdmx performance is very bad and more or
less unusable :-/ Maybe some fixes have been made to improve this in the
new Xorg being released with 9.04. Too bad the package doesn't work.

I can also confirm this problem in 8.04 and I'm also running an Acer
E360.
Again, noapic, noacpi and irqpoll does not fix the problem and Windows
XP does not have any problems.

I'm using a Spanish-Spanish keyboard configuration, which I always have
used in the past, but now I have problems in intrepid.
In gnome applications I can't do ` or ^ symbols. I press the dead key,
but nothing happens, no output. Strangely, I can do these symbols in KDE
apps
