It was on an a VM so that I just zapped it into trash and got a new VM.
Rather than moving data directory I just mounted my new directory on the
default directory and it seems to be working.

I discovered that smbtorture triggers the 'panic action' script on my samba
server.
smbtorture worked without problems on 10.10.
I used smbtorture to go after a problem I have with seahorse on cifs shares
(also worked well on 10.10). Please see

Install F15 :
virt-install --connect qemu:///system \
--virt-type kvm \
--os-type=linux --os-variant=fedora15 \
--name VF15 --ram 2048 \
--disk path=/dev/sdb5 \
--cdrom /mnt/home/boris/F15.iso \
--vcpus 2
Remove via VM - right click and choose delete.
or virsh delete VF15.
So /dev/sdb5

My attached files based on your original suggestion of two new upstart
jobs should do the trick as far as a minimally invasive fix for many
users. Anything more substantial would probably be hard to get approved
for a point release right?
