Hi, i have seen your log...
It showed that your machine is el7, but when yum install python, it yum
install the version of el6... so, i guessed if you used the wrong epel
which was for version el6.(?) Can you show the version of your epel,
please? :)

Hi, I have used CentOS 7 as a node on oVirt 3.5 for many times.
On my CentOS 7, the version of python is python-2.7.5-16.el7.x86_64, too.
And I found a strange thing, why your python-threading(maybe it's
python-pthreading) was for el6?

Hello,
did anyone actually get this working in oVirt 3.5 / EL6 - Engine? I am
trying this for two days now.
Setup:
Engine; EL6.5
Foreman; EL6.5
Foreman seems to do it's as I can use it to deploy hosts and also smart
proxies are running fine.
I have opened a BZ [1]; because this really can not
I'm using overt engine 3.5.0.1-1.el6 and want add to cluster node with
CentOS 7. But a error is appeared when engine install packets:
Failed to install Host 10.169.50.100. Yum
python-threading-0.1.3-3.el6.noarch requires python(abi)=2.6
Yum says python-2.7.5-16.el7.x86_64 already installed.

Thanks for the report Robert,
I think it can be quite related to this one:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1086032
It seams that currently, if we have more than one required networks, we are not
able to add an host.
And it's not just on hosted-engine setup: currently it seams that it

Hello Sven and Dan,
just FYI I opened a BZ [1] for the small mem leak of VDSM, 300KiB since
Sven reported the same thing and it is there (and still is) since a long
time now.
With some help of us it might be pinpointed; the growth is quite linear. [2]
Also, I think the issue might be neglectabl

Hello,
I 'm trying to disconnect my second datastorage from my oVirt enviroment
and so far I' was able to delete all virtual machines. But when I check the
available disks there are quite a few but I'm unable to delete them from
within the app.
Why is this happening and how can I neatly remove th

Am starting to believe may have to give up on oVirt and move back to straight
KVM and Openvswitch as that just worked which is a real shame :(

Well I doubt EL6 support will be dropped from ovirt, as downstream
still requires it to work on EL6 in the futur

This package is provided and installed from the base repo on el6.

Thanks for the updateswould you mind to let me know how i can integrate
it in Ovirt ??
1. Download those images on the engine server and upload to ISO_DOMAIN or
use the image-uploader to upload in to Ovirt ??
Thanks,

Hi everyone,
First of all I'd like to say that we have been using oVirt
Punit,
Also, let me apologize for misreading that!
Rather than using the ISO OEM you'll be much better off just grabbing
the QEMU or OpenStack image from here:
http://alpha.release.core-os.net/amd64-usr/current/coreos_production_qemu_image.img.bz2
or
http://alpha.release.core-os.net/amd64-usr/cu
Punit,
Former Red Hatter and current "coreo" here.
First which image are you trying to load? Your best bet will be to use
the QEMU image. Also take a look at the console and see what the boot:
line being supplied is.
