Nice mBraille update 2.10 that now announces punctuation in the spell checker
plus retains the punctuation when replacing a misspelled word.
Great job!
Thanks,
Richard

It's like a text expander. If you set up an alias, you could just type that
alias and have the full text entered instead. Good for your name, your email
address, a web link you type a lot, a greeting, a signature, that sort of hing.

MBraille just came out with an update that adds a great feature for Blind
Square users. You can now launch Blind Square from MBraille with several
commands like search, look around, where am I, and more. After the update, open
the help and read the section on Blind Square.

Hello,
I am hoping that my post made it to the list last night. I am not having any
issues with this update in using the .calendar command and having my calendar
appointments inserted into the native calendar app. I gave 2 examples on how I
wrote the enteries. If you need further help, you can

You have to enter quotes before and after the title, the start date and time,
and the end date and time.
I hope this helps a little bit.

Hello,
Thanks for your answers.
I find that, when I enter the hyphens in the dates, they are being transformed
into hyphen followed by colon.
This also happens when I enter phone numbers.
Af After further testing here's what I found:
If contractions are off, I cannot enter hyphens in
Hi again,
Just thought I'd add a nuance about the need for quotes in the cal command. If
the title is only 1 word such as in the one shown in a previous message in
this topic quotes are not necessary.
Best,

Hi Again,
I want to explain about the numeric indicator. When beginning to use the
.calendar command, I would use a numeric indicator sign after the hyphen.
However, this is not the correct usage of the numeric indicator sign. The
numeric indicator sign is used at the beginning of a line. It is
Hi again,
Thanks for this clariffication. I did get that but, as I stated in last
message, when contractions are off the letters after the hyphen are not treated
as numbers. Works fine with contracted Braille.
This appears to me to be a bug.
Best,
Ioana

Are you using the Australian voice, Karen, on your iPhone? If so, the grill
table being used is UEB. In that case, you need to type a number sign after
each hyphen or colon.

I find it impossible to write the dates.
The only workaround I found is to edit the dates before issuing the new line
command and removing the colon MBraille now adds after every hyphen.
Hope they'll fix this soon.

Hello,
I wanted to make sure that I was able to enter a calendar event before
responding. It would be helpful if you can give an example of how you are
writing the appointment with MBraille. I just made 2 enteries using different

Those are two great features. However, the best selling feature of the new
update is the iPad support. I have found the app a lot easier to use on the
iPad resulting in substantially fewer data entry errors.
