Depends on the operating system for the device... if the Tablet runs windows you can use a 4D windows client. If the tablet, phone etc runs iOS or Android you can use RDB to connect to a computer running the 4D client OR you will need to create a mobile application for the devices. 4D does have a product to generate applications for iOS devices but iOS will not run a 4D client or app directly. Set up a terminal server running Parallels software, then run a client on that machine, with settings to allow for the different screen size/resolutions you need to support.
