Re: v13 on OS X 12.6 [solved]
I have no idea what/why but after a restart - for other reasons - v13.6 seems to be working (at least it connects, and accepts passwords :) On Wed, 30 Aug 2017 09:24:16 +0200, Bernd Fröhlich via 4D_Tech wrote: > Chip Scheide: > >> I am getting error -10002 (connection disrupted) during the initial >> connection. > > -10002 is usually a network problem. > Is there some switch/firewall active that may block the connestion? > > Could you test with an older system running on the same machine > (start from a cloned external drive)? > Then you could be sure if the OS is the problem or if there is > something wrong with the network. > > Greetings from Germany, > Bernd Fröhlich > ** > 4D Internet Users Group (4D iNUG) > FAQ: http://lists.4d.com/faqnug.html > Archive: http://lists.4d.com/archives.html > Options: http://lists.4d.com/mailman/options/4d_tech > Unsub: mailto:4d_tech-unsubscr...@lists.4d.com > ** --- Gas is for washing parts Alcohol is for drinkin' Nitromethane is for racing ** 4D Internet Users Group (4D iNUG) FAQ: http://lists.4d.com/faqnug.html Archive: http://lists.4d.com/archives.html Options: http://lists.4d.com/mailman/options/4d_tech Unsub: mailto:4d_tech-unsubscr...@lists.4d.com **

Chip Scheide: > I am getting error -10002 (connection disrupted) during the initial > connection. -10002 is usually a network problem. Is there some switch/firewall active that may block the connestion? Could you test with an older system running on the same machine (start from a cloned external drive)? Then you could be sure if the OS is the problem or if there is something wrong with the network. Re: v13 on OS X 12.6
Chip, If the Mac is one of the touch-bar models it won't work. v13 may start up on those machines but it won't run. So if it's an older Mac that's been updated to Sierra others report v13 will run. The firewall is more robust, though. Since you're getting the can't connect to the db error I'd start looking at that sort of thing. v13 on OS X 12.6
I am attempting to connect to a server (v13) with a v13 client from OS X 12.6 Anyone get this to work? I am getting error -10002 (connection disrupted) during the initial connection. Anyone have a 'trick'?
