It's a mail with a forged From: address: the web form target is on a sever
on bravenet.com, which is an ISP in the USA, and the mail was sent from a
machine in dol.com.tr in Turkey (probably an open mail relay). Nothing to
do with ICQ at all.

Thanks for all the responses. That's what it seemed like, but I didn't want to delete
it before finding out. Thanks. Now,
to delete the email. I really dislike AOL anyway. :-))

ICQ is actually owned by AOL. It's really nasty business if *they* are
beginning to spam mailgroups...
It's probably some other company trying to abuse a well known internet brand.

It looks like spam to me. ICQ.com is a real company with a web site,
so you can check it out.

Probably what they're doing is trying to trick people into signing up
for their service. If you make the mistake of thinking that this has
something to do with abcusers, and send back the form, you will be a
"member" of ICQ.com's service. That's probably fine, if you want to
be a member. But it's a rather underhanded way of getting people to
sign up.

It's a hoax. Do not act on it.
