A ray of hope came when he was chosen by the State Bank of Mysorehttp://economictimes.indiatimes.com/state-bank-of-mysore/stocks/companyid-11512.cms for a probationary officer job against 3% handicapped quota through a written exam. He cleared the interview too and was sent on 15 days orientation training. After that, the bank rejected him saying he was medically unfit for the job. How can they declare someone unfit after giving him training? I moved all authorities in the government but to no avail. My son earns Rs 15-20,000 a month making plans which does give him some job satisfaction. But I am pursuing the issue and would take it to logical end to get justice for not just my son but every other disabled person. No one should face such problems in future, said the senior Seshadari. Surprisingly, different medical boards have rated his disability at different levels from 55 to 70%. Though I cannot walk without calipers as both my legs and hands are affected and I have myopia too but I can do this particular job, said Manjunath. The Seshadaris last sent their case to the Union ministry of social justice and empowerment (MOSJE) on August 5, 2010. All the ministry did was refer the case to the deputy chief commissioner of disabilities in Delhi. That office referred it to the Karantaka disabilities commissioner on December 12, 2010. Before that they had also sought intervention from Mukul Wasnik, the MOSJE minister. They have also been fighting the case in the court of the commissioner for persons with disabilities (under the Persons with Disabilities Act 1955). The commissioner at Bangalore had directed the bank to validate Manjunath's appointment on April 21, 2009. The bank appealed the direction and the case is pending. Dr G Shashikala, a neurologist and the general secretary of Indian Academy of Cerebral Palsy (IACP) from city, who also happens to be mother of a cerebral palsy affected son who is working with ICICI Bankhttp://economictimes.indiatimes.com/icici-bank-ltd/stocks/companyid-9194.cms, is not surprised at Manjunath's plight. She and the support group of parents with CP children have had many such experiences. Hi Vamshi, From the View menu in Windows Explorer, you can sort files according to date modified and then copy the files to another folder. In order to create a list of files, use Print Directory, a free program written by Karen Kenworthy. Googling for Print Directory should bring up the download link. Hello all, I seem to have inadvertently changed some setting in Goldwave, after which Goldwave has begun applying the noise reduction filter to all the files I edit. This garbles the content in the files, making it virtually impossible to listen to them. I would like to restore Goldwave to its default settings. Is that possible at all? I read on an online forum that Goldwave remembers the settings and restores them even when one uninstalls and reinstalls the program. Any suggestions on how I can get rid of these settings? I am not sure about any option to restore settings to default, but you can certainly uninstall and reinstall to fix this problem. After uninstalling the program, you have to restart your computer and delete the gold wave folder and the associated registry key. However remember that it will also remove your registration info and you have to reregister the program which should be easy enough. Vetri. If someone sat for an exam, he should not be denied the right to see his
answer paper once the result is out. No institute or exam-conducting body
should ever resist such disclosure, she said.
In 2007, Pritam Rooz, a student of University of Calcutta, filed an RTI
application seeking the disclosure of his answer sheet. His request was
denied due to university policy.
He then approached the high court, where a single judge and a two-judge
bench ruled that the university should release the answer sheets.
The Central Board of Secondary Education, the West Bengal Board of
Secondary
Education, the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, the
University of Calcutta, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India,
the
West Bengal School Service Commission and the Assam Public Service
Commission appealed against the high court's ruling in the apex court.
Rooz, however, did not pursue the case in the Supreme Court. Mazdoor Kisan
Shakti Sangathan, a society that had campaigned for transparency in the
form
of the RTI law, and Joint Operation for Social Help, a student help group,
took on the case.
Subsequently, other institutions that conduct tests also joined the case
and
opposed the disclosure of corrected answer sheets.
They argued that evaluated answer sheets are not covered under
information
as defined in the RTI Act, and that releasing these papers will lead to a
collapse of the system.
The court noted that several universities that disclose corrected answer
sheets on request haven't faced such a collapse. It also said it is the
duty
of public authorities to allow maximum disclosure as envisaged by the RTI
Act

every day I study till 11.30 pm and work so hard, but what is the use
when I am not permited to write what ever I know?
When I try to explain people about that, I always receive the same answer:
science is difficult you should have taken other cources!?
why do you worry when you are able to get more than 85% marks in most
of the suhbjects inspite of the difficulties why do you want more in
all subjects?
but my question is Why shouldn't I want more when i have studied
everything?
this is really discouraging and I felt to change the course!
the rules cannot be made general for all subjects
in my 12th I had taken commerce I had no probblem if any science
stream student wrote exam for me because Accounts could be easily
explained if I had practiced a little.
Does it mean that Science is not for Vi students?
Why should I loose marks where I actualy should not loose?
Can any one give me a selution for this?
If people doubt that seniors who know the subject can write all the
answers and we get more marks, why dont they think if juniors write
the exam They wont even be able to read the question paper and we
unnecessarily loose marks?
