Hello Friends Have a nice day to all of you Friends, I have a query here. I am not able to format one of my external Hard-disk. The disk is empty but there's a small file autorun in the disk. Whenever I tried to format the disk, everytime I am getting the same message, Windows cannot format this drive. Quit any disk utilities or other programs that are using this drive, and make sure that no window is displaying the contents of the drive. Then try formatting again. OK Friends, I know, there may be a virus in the disk but this is equally true, I need to format the disk to get reed of this virus. Perhaps Your Drive got infected with virus, which is trying to spread into your computer. In that case, you cannot format it using windows. Use command prompt to format.
