hi all, my employer is declining  for the exumption  in my tds with my

Hello NAB helpline:
There are visually impaired persons working for government firms and
PSU's in other part of India also and I believe that NAB is Pan India.
So why only NAB Delhi is so proactive in empowering visually
challenged. Why do NAB do not have any centralized mechanism to carry
their projects uniformly in every part of their presence and why only
Delhi always?

Open to Visually Impaired Now. Students with visual impairment in the
state will be given admission to science stream in Higher Secondary
classes, from this year onwards. The cause of this epoch-making
decision, Jomol K, who will also be one of the first to benefit from
the decision, met KPCC president V M Sudheeran at  KPCC office,
Vellayambalam, on Saturday. Accompanying her were Aswathy V K and
Adila Farzan, who are also people with visual impairment ready explore
the science stream. Jomol had submitted a letter to Jawahar
Balajanavedi chairman G V Hari, about how students with visual
impairment were denied admissions to science stream. The letter was
brought to the notice of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and KPCC
president V M Sudheeran, and the government has decided to admit all
meritorious students with visual impairment to science batches.

CHAPTERS ON DISABILITY SOON IN SCHOOL CURRICULUM: JAVADEKAR. Chapters
on disability will soon be included in school curriculum to increase
awareness and sensitise the youth about the issue, Human Resource
Development Minister Prakash Javadekar said on Sunday. At a bikers’
rally organised here to spread awareness about universal accessibility
for the differently-abled, Javadekar said educational institutes would
be made accessible to the disabled in a phased manner, according to an
official statement. The ‘Ride for Accessibility’ was organised as part
of a campaign run by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment to
spread awareness about the issue. Flagged off from India Gate, it saw
the participation of leading biker groups from the city. The
Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) is
running an Accessible India Campaign (Sugamya Bharat Abhiyan) for
creating universal accessibility in built environment, public
transportation and Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
eco-system. The campaign was initially launched by Prime Minister
Narendra Modi on December 3 last year on the occasion of the

Dignity Report Session 8:

Date:   9th July 2016
Venue: Silver Linings Office at Mayur Vihar Phase 2
Time: from 11am to 4pm.
Attended by:  8  participants.

Proceedings:
Welcome by Preeti
Detailed introductions by all participants, covering why they were
here with us, what are the top issues they would like to get solutions
for via this programme.
Preeti thereafter spoke about what   Silver Linings objectives were
and why Dignity.
The top concerns of the participants were, personality  and personal
Development, self-immage, grooming and body image, overcoming
inhibitions, tips on improving cooking skills.
Each of these issues were discussed and there were various solutions
shared by Preeti and also from within the participants, bringing forth
a very rich tapestry of ways to tackle various issues.
The most encouraging part of these sessions is that there is a marked
improvement in each Dignity girl! And the very fact that they keep
coming back for more, is most heartening
Participants who have been attending Dignity sessions for some time
now, shared the benefit they have got from being here regularly.
Cooking was discussed and Preeti shared the recipe of a few dishes. We
encouraged each one of the participants to practice independent
cooking, by most of us sharing tips and ways to approach various
dishes.

We were joined by a new volunteer Ms. Ritu, who is an accomplished
corporate trainer and consultant, an expert homemaker.

We parted to meet again in  August 2016 for the next session of Dignity!

Why are we doing?
Many candidates are doing government job as per their qualification but
don't have computer knowledge. Now today's world required computer
knowledge because of the work processer.
To get permission in their placement computer skill is required. So
according to that we have design curriculum.
To get knowledge around us with the help of Technology and include
them-self in all activity which is happening.

Duration: Duration of this course is 21 weeks /5 months.
Mode of Class: the class would be on every Sunday 11 am to 5 pm
Seats: 10
Place: National training Center Vijay nagar double story Delhi 110009
Eligibility: Any visually impaired person who are at job place.

Well, there is no circular on the matter.
But in this case, if there are two blind and one sighted person, then I am 
afraid it is practically not possible to exempt blind from shift duty.
I believe in railways also blind have to do shift duty, at least I have done it.

I am working as a telephone operator in this factory. Yet they have
other sighted person, although pressurize us for the night or second
shift. Second shift timing is 12. PM. To 10 PM. And night shift 10 PM.
07.45 AM. for your information we are 2 blind and 1 sighted people but
expect from the 2 blind persons of the Shift duty.
