[AI] Join the Twitter campaign to push for Disability Rights Bill - 3pm to 6pm

2016-12-11 Thread ramya
Dear Friends,

The National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People,
NCPEDP, has started a Twitter campaign to push the Parliament to pass the
pending Rights of Persons with Disabilities Bill.

The campaign requires one to go online on Twitter today from 3 PM to 6 PM.

The idea is to tweet to all the Rajya Sabha MPs having Twitter accounts
about the Bill widely to make #PassRPWDBill trend.

This is because when anything trends hugely on Twitter, the TV/ newspapers
automatically comes to support.

You can use the below tweet or create your own but keep the message short
and do not forget to use #PassRPWDBill in your tweet.

Just 60 seconds to change the lives of 10 crore people. Pass the Rights of
Persons with Disabilities Bill @Siva_Chiranjivi #PassRPWDBill. (This same
message can be done for all the MPs)

Warm Regards
Ramya

As you asked about using Facebook in computer through jaws. I will
suggest you that with jaws internet explorer will work friendly, and
while using facebook you can use “m.facebook.com” if you will use this
way it is very accessible for screen reader users.

Let me know if you have any query.

Sazid,

1. Try to get a different person to escort you each day.
2. A significant part of a vacation is interacting with the people around you.
3. As others have said, ask questions and touch what you can. This assumes you
are walking. When driving, do ask different people to describe what is out the
window.
4. If you want to get fancy, grab an app like iMusic or the vOICe and look at

get an independent sceninary description which can yield more avenues for

5. Travel light if possible.

Re: [AI] facebook on computer

2016-12-11 Thread rajendra dhurve
Yes Mohit...
Definitely u can access FB on your PC or Laptop with an ease!!
I must suggest you to use Mozilla Firefox13 or any of the latest
Firefox version will do!!
You may access the FB by pressing its shortcut keys such as:
To go on homepage: Press Alt+Shift+1
and many more!
The most qurius info about using FB on Firefox is that: it does speaks
the shortcut or the Hotkeys with the links given in site.
The moment u keep pressing Down arrow alone, it will tell u its link
and its Hotkeys too!
So enjoy FB with great fun!!

Re: [AI] For Millions of Indians with Disabilities making online payments is tough call

2016-12-11 Thread nitesh gupta
I see this debate in another way. We VI need to fight till this world
is not easy and hard to live as our counterpart sighted.
I think all the Governments of this world should make all the Apps and
sites illegal, which are not accessible for blinds.
Really I feel the pain of blindness when this captcha becomes hurdle.
but side by side I support the move of Modi because by this
digitalization a blind has doors of so many opportunities.
We can not deny that today most of us get our work done with the help
of computer and if the use of net will be increased, we will be more
independent.

 Dear Sir,

You have mentioned some very commonly used apps above. People will more
than happy to use them with your guidance. It's better for us that you
make some audio tutorials on them. I have started using Paytm recently.
 I
had to struggle a lot initially. But, if I had some tutorial on it, the
task would have been much easier. You and some institutes like Saksham
 can

do the job for the benefit of the blind who are not so techno-savvy.

 Thank you.

Re: [AI] how can a blind enjoy vacations?

2016-12-11 Thread Tilakprasad Joshi
Hi Friends,

You should never miss the chance to go out and have fun! Whenever huge
group of people is there it’s really a fun and enjoyable, I too have
enjoyed my trip with my colleagues and had a wonderful time, as Mr.
Shankar said try to be independent as much as possible, Sometimes
people may hesitate to take you for certain activities please don’t be
dishearten, request you to understand what this activities are all are
about ask someone to explain, then explain them how you can do those
activities in a safest manner!
However, Sometimes I doo wish if I had Vision because I love being
alone sometimes really feel if I could go on tour on my own without
anyone’s assistance, I know many sighted friends go alone and enjoy
their trip at the same time, I do understand my limmitations!

Warm Regards,
Tilak.

Any idea amazon.com deliver products to Belgium?

2016-12-11 Thread Kannan. C

Amazon is a world wide network.
It has its individual domine in all country.
So, try to go to the France site and place your order and pay through
paypal account which can be filled with money using credit/debit card.

paypal account can be created in its own web site.
